Hi
Just started the elimination diet. Cleared out some cupboards a couple of weeks ago and worked on the fridge yesterday. Only went shopping down the aisles in the supermarket I know are ok. Gave up coffee and tea years ago. I drink water and herb teas but also red wine. Everything ok so far.

This is day 1 for me. The food side isn't a worry but I do have trouble with all that drinking! Wish me luck

I everybody - i'm on day 18 and finally seeing results. I'm also loving the steamer but am having a few sessions at Dax studios in islington and they all champion coconut oil and olive oil and told me not to be scared of fats even if i'm trying to lose weight so can fry a little i guess! Lynn - my day 1 - 3 were so awful - my head pounded like its never pounded before!!

hey Lynn - welcome!!
I'm on day 12 and it's my first go at the ED so going at it with lots of enthusiasm. Are you feeling any symptons yet? I was really tired for the first few days.
I'm loving my steamer at the moment - Young's Salmon tastes dreamy steamed!!!

I never said lots of fruit was a bad thing lol just that I'd been eating lots.

Here's what I have had today:

B: ryvita and chicken with cucumber slices
L: boiled eggs, ryvita, butter
Snack: fresh fruit smoothie from the juice bar in town - banana, strwberries and pineapple juice - hemp seed bar from Holland and Barrat.
D: oven baked salmon with spices/sesame seeds, baby new potatoes and mixed veg

Wouldn't normally have two lots of ryvita but it was a rushed lunch to get out bargain hunting!! And some people don't agree with using ryvita as it is processed but to me it's a lifesaver, just watch which one you have as some have wheat in.
Wil have some dried fruit and nuts later

you poor thing Trixie, i had that flu all over Christmas- not very nice.
Headaches have gone now thank goodness - i very nearly gave up as i couldn't do anything - i was at home with my 2 yr old who was ill and we both just lay on the sofa all day for two days!!

looking forward to more comments.
Trixie, why is lots of fruit a bad thing - i crave it a lot and i think its because its sweet and i am or WAS a sugar junkie!

headaches,. my first time round I suffered with headaches, make sure you keep chugging that water and also bananas help a lot too. It will pass in a few days I promise you!

Hi Guys, sorry been ill most of the week which hasn#t made following the ED very easy, been eating a lot of fruit but drinking decaff tea. Today is my first day back to proper 3 meals a day and all my water ( I hope!) just gonna scoot back and see what you've all posted :D

Ha!ha! I thought they were here every day lol!

I found I couldnt find exercises so I joined Lookgreatnakedchallenge.com, it is £3.44 to do it but says its free, its for 30 days if you wish to continue its £10 a week for 90 days total or £99 one off payment.
You get an email every day telling you what to do, what to eat,you get exercises to do pluss videos, so I think this is a lot better for me, £10 a week you would pay that to go weight watchers lol
